Since 2016, Will Foster has been intently studying the French neurologically-based systems called Auriculotherapy and Auriculomedicine. This system of treatment was developed by Dr. Paul Nogier and a group of colleagues (engineers-neurologists) in Lyon, France starting in the 1950's. This system is different than the practice that has become known as 'ear acupuncture.'
In 2019 he graduated from the Inaugural Comprehensive Training in Neuroacupuncture Program (CTNP). This was the first graduating class of a 3 year training track in the new field of Neuro-Acupuncture, also known as Scalp Acupuncture. This relatively new style of acupuncture was developed in China starting in the 1970's and was initially introduced in the US and has since been championed by Drs. Jason and Linda Hao. Dr. Jason Hao was one of Will Foster's professors while he attended Southwest Acupuncture College.
